He was predeceased by : his father Harvey. He is survived by : his children, Shannon Lee Brown (Brittany) of Colorado, Nathan Dion Brown (Shannon) of Marion, AR and Rhonda Kay Taylor of West Memphis, AR; and his siblings, Levi Brown of Texas, Hazel Riley of Trumann, AR, Annie King of Florida and Linda Redd of Florida. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
