He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gordon Sparkman and Uvita Harlon Sparkman; his sisters, Faye Muriel Sparkman and Lilly Souter; his grandmother Jean Cook (Nettie Louise Sparkman); and his brothers, James Gordon Sparkman, Nariel Sparkman of Maryland and Sam Mack Sparkman.
He is survived by: his sister Katherine Edwards; his children, Bobby Sparkman, Jr. (Malinda), Murria Butler (Adam) and Jessica Teague (Josh); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Tatum Teague, Ashley, Kristen Sparkman, Carlee Lewis, Wyatt Bearden, Dillion Bolton, Josh and Jasmyne Burris; and his great grandchildren, Kingston White, River Lily Williams and Natalie Cooper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
