He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Dean Rice and Louise Babbit Rice; his wife Hazel Ray Rice; and his sisters, Glyn Logue and Phyliss Ann Rice.
He is survived by: his daughter Lesley Brown (Adam) of White Hall; his siblings, Mary Garrison, Billie Jean Ray (Robert), Sharon Frachiseur (Tim) and Steven Rice (Kim); and his grandchildren, Ethan Via and Valynn Via. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
