He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Davis and Wilma Jenkins Davis; his wife Linda Ann Batson Davis; and his son William Edward Davis. He is survived by: his daughter Tanya Michelle White; his daughter-in-law Jordan Jennings (Jeremiah); his grandchildren, Anthony White and Amber House (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Matthew House and Delinda House; and his pet Scooby.
