He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Leroy Chapman and Sadie Baker Ferguson; his son Troy Brian Chapman, Sr.; his brothers, Dennis Leroy Chapman, Sr. and Thomas Calvin Chapman, Sr.; his stepfather Troy Ferguson; his son-in-law Chad Hall; his grandparents, Roy Hix Baker, Leta Grace Lewis Baker, Calvin C. Chapman and Lila Ree Crain Henley; and his stepgrandfather Charlie Henley.
He is survived by: his children, Earnest Larry "Peadro" Chapman, Jr. (Shanna) of Wright, Stacy Chapman Hall of Rison, Timothy Chapman of White Hall and Dawn Heird of Warren; his sisters, Marie McGriff (Billy) of Star City and Carolyn Shipman of Star City; his sister-in-law Lori Chapman; his grandchildren, Britney Chapman Ratcliff (Dustin) of Woodlawn, Earnest "Trey" Larry Chapman, III of Woodlawn, Dustin Nix of Anchorage, AK, Hunter Hall of Sheridan, Madelian Phillips (Brock) of Lompoc, CA, Felicia Chapman of Crosby, TX, Troy Brian Chapman, Jr. (Nadia) of White Hall, Matthew McCoy (Annalisa) of San Diego, CA and Kelli Eggleston of Bossier City, LA; and his great grandchildren, Laykynn Mercer, Laylah Lockwood, Olivia Ratcliff, Ivy Ratcliff, Haislee Ratcliff, Waylon Hall, Wrenley Hall, Lemon Phillips and Maverick Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
