She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse McGarity, Jr.; her son James Allen "Bear" McGarity; her grandson Jacob McGarity; and her siblings, Ernest Paul Harmon, Ralph Harmon, Willard Harmon, Mildred Jackson, Pansy Dean, Hazel Carey and Hilda Stinson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Lewis and Debra Pruitt; her grandchildren, Bryan Peyton, Chris Lewis (Beth), Carmen Pruitt and Josh McGarity (Lilly); and her great grandchildren, Lauren Lewis, Hunter Peyton, Kameron Peyton, Noah Lewis, Isabella Partin, Alexa Isbell, Noah Partin and Elijah Partin.
