She was predeceased by: her father Edward John Brooks; her husband Glenn Edward Brown; her son Ricky Lee Brown; and her siblings, Kenneth, Johnny Brooks and Linda Sue Avant.
She is survived by: her mother Glenna Jean Schultz Brooks; her children, Billy Joe Brooks, Tina Gravett, Shaina Brown and Tarah Wells (Jason); her siblings, James Brooks, Charles Brooks, Daniel Brooks, Jean Boddie and Frank Russell Brooks; and her grandchildren, Alaynah Wells and Austin Dale Stafford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who loved her like a mother.
