She is survived by : her sons, Lue Gene Shelton Sr. (June) of White Hall, AR., Leon Edwards Sr. of White Hall, AR., Larry Edwards Sr. of White Hall, AR. and David Edwards Sr. (Sue) of White Hall, AR.; her caregiver June Shelton; her close friend Jimmy Lee Coleman; and her siblings, Abraham Carpenter Sr., Eli Carpenter Sr. (Hazel), Nathaniel Carpenter (Virneta), Riley Carpenter Sr., Elijah Carpenter, Emma Burr (James), Josephine Watson (O. T.), Roseine Ficklin, Mildred Crane (Clarence), Mattie Craig, Loraine Davis (Demetrius), Elizabeth Yarbrough and Elisa Collins. She is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
