Roy Lee Kimbrell Obituary

Roy Lee Kimbrell, age 99, of Williford, Arkansas passed away on July 8, 2026 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on January 14, 1927 in Tyronza, Arkansas to Floyd and Zellie (Finley) Kimbrell. Roy was a United States Army WWII Veteran, he served in Australia and Europe. He enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee, watching westerns, and spending time with family.

Survivors include; wife: Lulu Kimbrell of Phoenix, Arizona; two sons: Ernest Kimbrell of Phoenix, Arizona and Oscar Kimbrell of Phoenix; two daughters: Linda Stafford of Memphis, Tennessee and Elizabeth Brown (Henry) of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother: Pat Kimbrell (Cindy) of Lepanto, Arkansas; three sisters: Rosie Fritz of Batesville, Arkansas, Margie McEachearn of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas, Dean Overton Williford, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Ricky Powell, Derek Powell, Heather Ambrozic, Chris Durff; five great grandchildren: Austin Powell, Dallas Powell, Maycee Powell, Victoria Halle, Ashton Stubblefield; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Floyd and Zellie (Finley) Kimbrell; one brother: Hubert Kimbrell; two sisters: Betty Wroten and Annie Sanders; and two granddaughters.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
