With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Watkins of Williford, Arkansas, born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on August 20, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Lee Watkins; and her brother John Vaught. She is survived by: her son Bryan Thomas (Sherry) of Kansas; her grandchildren, Kerry of Kansas, Patricia of Kansas and Shanley of Kansas; her stepdaughters, Robyn Thomas of Kansas, Tiffani Sullivan of Kansas, Tobi Watkins of Kansas and Toni Watkins of Michigan; and her sisters, Sally and Susie. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
