In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jack Barthol; and his stepgrandfather George Petty. He is survived by: his parents, Ricky Barthol and Kay Barthol; his brother Heath (Morgan Barthol); his grandparents, Shirley, Fred Montgomery and Louise Barthol Petty; and his sibling's children, Marlee, Maddie Barthol and Nathan Barthol.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
