He was predeceased by: his parents, Deward Royce and Racheal Pearson Carr; and his siblings, Stanley Carr, Shawn Fowler and Blanche Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann Saint Carr of Wilson; his children, John Carr (Christina) of Wilson, Christopher Foster (Jennifer) of Keiser, Dustin Mauppins of Wilson, Brandon Mauppins (Cynthia) of Wilson and Constance Foster (Tim Betts) of Keiser; and his siblings, Terry Fowler of Wilson, Dorothy Cottrell (Delbert) of Mooresville and Sally Neil of Mooresville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
