He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Tallant and Clidia Ayers Tallant; and his brothers, Jack, Marvin, Ervin, Loyd Dale, Floyd Dale, Carrol and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Tallant; his sons, Charlie Tallant (Cathy) of De Queen and Todd Tallant (Jana) of Mineral Springs; his niece Joyce Kilpatrick; and his nephew Cob Tallant. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (403 W Stillwell Ave, De Queen, AR 71832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Campground Cemetery Pavilion.
