He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert T. McClain and Dora Allie McClain; his spouse Loeatta Ward; his significant other Patricia Walker (Pat); his siblings, Robert (Bobby), Paul, Leslie, Benjamin McClain (Benny), Wilma Thompson and Hazel DeClue; and his daughter Alana Faye Scroggins.

He is survived by : his brother-in-law Jim Walker (Vickie); and his nieces and nephews, Joe Davidson (Judy), Marsha Jenkins, Renee Smith (Richard), Greg Chastain (Lesa), Laura Walker (Anthony), Yvonne Sturdivant (Jeff) and Yvette Mahan (Rusty). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcox Family Funeral Home & Crematory (108 N Broadview St, Greenbrier, AR 72058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (676 AR-25, Greenbrier, AR 72058).
