Arthur Caldwell Obituary

Arthur Caldwell, 77, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away on May 23, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on December 23, 1946 in Wynne, Arkansas to Preston Dudley and Lucille Rose Caldwell. He was a member of the Wynne Baptist Church. He graduated from Wynne High School and from Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School and was an accredited farrier, and he loved horses and being outdoors. He worked for the Arkansas Alcohol and Beverage Control for many years and then he became a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include; four brothers: Randal (Glenda) Caldwell of Wynne, Arkansas, Bobby (Peggy) Caldwell of Wynne, Arkansas, Ronald (Brenda) Caldwell, and Max (Fiance' Marsha Cohn) Caldwell of Forrest City, Arkansas; three sisters: Jo Ann Bassham (Robert) of Wynne, Arkansas, Dorma Huffstuttler (Ted) of Colt, Arkansas, and Kathi Turner (Brooks) of Wynne, Arkansas; bonus family: Becky Burch, Tanya Burch, and Lisa Burch; grandchildren: Matthew Nelson, Mallari Nelson, Jaxson Raburn, Trey Hale, Grayson McMillan; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents: Preston and Lucille Caldwell; grandparents: Walter and Mollie Rose and Elmer and Ethyl Chapman; one son: Preston Giles Caldwell; and two brothers: Jimmy Caldwell and wife Norma, and Jerry Caldwell and wife Peggy.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Crosslawn Cemetery, Wynne, Arkansas with Brother Rodney Eldridge and Brother Preston Huffstuttler officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

A visitation will be held after the service in the lobby of the Wynne Baptist Church.
