We announce the death of Barney Eugene Burnett Sr. (Wynne, Arkansas), who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Burnett and Julia Burnett (Gray); his sisters, Jenny Lee Burnett Sisson and Edna Lou Burnett Smith; and his granddaughter Lizzie Blair Ann Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Burnett (Cowan); his sons, Barney Eugene Burnett Jr. of Wynne and Jeremy Brian Burnett (Jenny) of Wynne; his grandchildren, Lauren Burnett Jones (Chris) of Jonesboro, Laynee Paige Burnett (Jacob Scarbrough) of Wynne, Ryan Bedwell (Alexis Kelley) of Wynne and Owen Bedwell (Destiny) of Forrest City; his great grandchildren, Lillian Abigail Jones and Samantha Ruth "Sami" Jones of Jonesboro; his siblings, B. J. Burnett (Belle) of Tilton, Griffin Burnett of Searcy, Ann Burnett Pulley of Wilburn and Caroline Burnett Etheridge (Robert) of Little Rock; his daughter Angela Baldwin Burnett Caster (Robert) of Rogers; his grandchildren, Kyle Caster, Joseph Caster, Aaron Caster and Sophia Caster; and his daughter Kim Browning Burnett Mross (Jerry) of Bay Village.
