She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Fowler and Dola Fowler; her spouse J. D. Mize; and her son James Mize. She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Mize; her grandchildren, James Don, Jr., Kristie Wallace, Scott Gibson, Sarah Strauss and Samantha Gilbert; and her great grandchildren, Jacey, Tyson, Graham, Shara and Christina.
