He was predeceased by: his parents, G. L. Armstrong and Pansy Mae Tacker Robertson; his daughter Erica Lewis; his granddaughter Lizzie Burnett; and his brothers, James, Brian and Jerrell "Cotton" Armstrong.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michelle Henderson of Wynne and Kenny Armstrong of Wynne; and his grandchildren, Halle Winders and Landon Lewis.
