He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harrison and Marie McKnight (Pauline Francine Boger); his daughter Shala McKnight; his grandson Drew McKnight; and his siblings, Larry, Stanley McKnight, Shirley Matthews and Patricia Collins.

He is survived by: his children, Shannon McKnight of Wynne, Ginger Bates of Forrest City, Amber Hunt of Wynne and Nikki McKnight of Conway; and his siblings, Rodney of Wynne, Tommy of Wynne, Paul of Wynne, Dan McKnight of Wynne, Kenneth McKnight of Vanndale and Jeanne Blackwell of Wynne. He is also survived by several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
