He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Rushing and Naomi Rushing (Presley); and his brothers, Willard Rushing and L. T. Rushing. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rushing; his children, Larry Rushing (Jennifer) of Texas, Michael Rushing (Cathy) of Lamar, Darrell Midgett (Stephanie) of Vanndale, Vickie Loftis (Joey) of Clarksville and Cherie Halk of Cherry Valley; his brothers, Jerry Rushing (Carolyn) of Wynne and Doug Rushing (Cindy) of Wynne; and his grandchildren, Wade Halk (Chelsea), Waylon Halk, Lacy Pearson, Jarrett Pearson, Dillion Douglas, Lindsey Pearson, Cassie McNamara (Aaron), Caitlin Rushing, Kahlass Hamblen, Manda Hamblen, Faith Loftis, Lindsey Rushing, Emily Rushing and Grace Rushing. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
