She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Flossie Stella Davis (Luker); her husbands, James Roscoe Burns and Murriel Thompson; her son Randy Burns; and her sister Melba Sides.

She is survived by: her children, Miles Burns (Christie) of Mayflower, Anthony Thompson of Heber Springs and Geraldine J. Gilbert (Aubrey) of Wynne; her siblings, J. C., Howard, Lloyd, Raymond, James Ray Davis, Eva, Dotâ, Baty and Flossie Thompson; her grandchildren, Jimmy Wayne Jarrett, Lisa Whitehead, Melissa Burns-Swearingen, Scott Burns, Kimber Vanbebver and Kyle Burns; and her stepgrandchildren, Nikki Godfrey and Gary Gilbert. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
