He was predeceased by: his parents, Elma Graves Jones and Sam Preston Jones; his wives, Mayo Riley Jones and Betty Allen Jones; and his siblings, Harold Jones, James Ray Jones, W. B. Jones, A. D. Jones and Norma Clay Harrell.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Jones Barnes (Mark Barnes) of Wynne and Richard Riley Jones (Haley Wixon Jones) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Desmond Riley Jones and Anna Claire Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
