We bid farewell to Robert W. Champion of Wynne, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sid Champion and Annie Champion (Casteel); his wife Irene Andrews Champion; his great grandchild Connie; and his siblings, Emmett, Henry, Melton, Shelton Champion, Uva Caughron, Dorothy Caraway and Wilma Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Renae Cochran of Clute, Texas, Bobby Champion (Lola) of Wynne, Sherri Davenport (Will) of Jonesboro and Arlene Clements (Tom) of Wynne. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, one honorary granddaughter, one honorary great-grandson, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home (2642 US-64, Wynne, AR 72396). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
