It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Annette Thomas of Wynne, Arkansas, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Fowler and Bonnie Lawson Fowler; her grandson Brett Thomas; and her siblings, Glenda Davis, Jerry Fowler and Harold Fowler.

She is survived by: her husband James Carl "Buddy" Thomas of Wynne; her children, James Thomas, Jr. of Chicago, Debbie Crotty of Chicago and Patty Herring of Chicago; her siblings, Betty Wilson of Cabot, Martha South (Cathy Gibson), Sandra Abram of Forrest City and Billy Fowler (Glenn Fowler); and her grandchildren, Jake, Clinton Crotty, Bobby, David, Deedra Herring and Brittany Thomas. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
