He was predeceased by: his parents, Vellar Hensley and Grover Cleveland Hardcastle; his former wife Betty Joyce Hardcastle; his siblings, Jim, Jay, Larry, Gene Hardcastle, Nina Wallace, Reba Self, Nora Sue Reedy and Lola Hickerson; his daughter Angela Darlene Baxter; and his granddaughter Jessica Ann Carlisle.
He is survived by: his children, George Jeffrey Hardcastle (Sherri), Steven Baxter, Stephanie Stigall and Penney Coniglio. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
