He was predeceased by: his wife Erlinda Rojo Aroz; his son Rafael Ignacio Aroz; his grandsons, Joseph Lorenzo Alvillar and Paul Lorenzo Alvillar; his parents, Rafael F. Aroz and Maria Luisa Aroz; and his siblings, Rafael Aroz, Ruben Aroz, Reginaldo Aroz, Anita Reyes and Guadalupe Goff.
He is survived by: his children, Francisco Aroz, Gerardo Aroz of Ajo, Maria Alvillar (Frank Alvillar) of Ajo and Manuel Aroz (Julianne Lewis) of Phoenix, Arizona.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
