He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Braaten and Janet Braaten; and his grandparents, Floyd, Sophie Braaten, Ralph and Fauniell Lee.

He is survived by : his wife Andrea Braaten; his sons, Austin (Kaity), Devin (Madeline) and Hayden; and his siblings, Teri (Don) and Scott (Wendy).
