He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Black and Robert Black. He is survived by: his wife Karen Borgerding Black; his children, Rebecca (Chris), Matthew, Robert (Parvin), Katie (Jared) and Richard; and his grandchildren, Violet and Liam. He is also survived by extended family members and close friends.
