He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Ivan Chesnut and Gladys Agnes Fisher; his wife Verda Carrie Grace; his siblings, Peggy Ann Laub, Francis Gay Sorenson, Colette Street (Butch) and Joseph Melvin Chesnut; his son-in-law Ted DeLeon; and his great grandchild Riley Chantel Vozza.

He is survived by : his children, Terri Neff (Mike), Stan Chesnut (Teri) of Tucson, AZ, Don Chesnut (Linette) of Safford, AZ, Connie DeLeon of Ruth, NV and Ray Chesnut (Teri) of Kamas, UT.; and his sister Vickie Lee Ricks. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. And many other family and friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
