He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Drew Rappleye and Avonell Rappleye; his sister Carrie Christine Rappleye; and his son David Clyde Rappleye. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Rappleye; his children, Clarissa, Aaron Chapman, Drew, Kristy Rappleye (Kosta), Benjamin, Kellie Rappleye (Andes), Laura and Justin Rhodes; and his siblings, John (Denise Rappleye), Charles (Cathy Rappleye), Betty Ann (Steve Curtis), Patricia (Michael Terry), Kathy Sue (Allen Barrett) and Jeanie (Rick Davis). He is also survived by thirteen grand-children, and four great grand-children.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1720 S Ironwood Dr, Apache Junction, AZ 85120). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM. Six months into their service, the COVID-19 pandemic brought them home.
He valiantly fought an eighteen-year battle against Parkinson's, with fortitude and a healthy dose of humor.
