He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Baran and Juana Ortiz Camacho; and his sister Maryann Mancini. He is survived by: his siblings, Carmen Ruiz (Antonio), Linda Targia, Theresa Harkins (Jim) and John Baran (Rhodora); and his close friend Mary Allen. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery (10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248).
