It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Obito Manriquez Jr. (Avondale, Arizona), who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Obito departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Obito may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Obito leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Alfonso Barajas Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Manuela Barajas and Obed Manriquez Sr.; his sisters, Natalie Higgins and Aprile Manriquez; and his brother-in-law Austin Higgins (Zurizaday Robles). He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home (9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery & Funeral Home (9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home (9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392).
