He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy and Lisa; his grandson William Joseph Gamez; his siblings, Alfredo (Natividad), Adolfo (Tina), Carlos, Eduardo, Ana Imelda Alvarez (Alex), Irene Armendariz (Hector) and Reina Cornejo (Jaime); and his uncle Jose Gamez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
