It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Hocking of Benson, Arizona, born in Auburn, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Avis Gertrude Wilkins and Frank Wright Hocking; his wife Arden Rae Choquet; and his brother Roger Hocking. He is survived by : his daughter Lesli Choat (Bill) of Springfield, IL; his granddaughter Elizabeth Choat; and his siblings, Keith Hocking (Ruby) of Charleston, SC and Nancy Hocking of Benson, AZ.

“Sorry to hear of the passing of Jay. He was a good friend while living in Auburn and we shared quite a few laughs with the car friends. He also served as a member of the Fire Department Trustees which I am also involved in RIP Jay and thanks for the tour when I was in AZ a few years ago.”
