He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Gonzales and Beatrice Parra Gonzales; and his son Michael Gonzales. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Marino-Sarmiento (Adrian), Richelle Valenzuela (Valente), Sonia Hernandez (Enrique) and Amalia Gonzales; his grandchildren, Isaac Monge, Reyna Cota, Loren Alvarado and Liam Valenzuela; his siblings, Marina Manzanarres, Martha White (Gerald), Ruben Gonzales (Terry), Peter Gonzales (Angela), Gilbert Gonzales (Ernestina), Beatrice Benitez and David Gonzales (Janet); and his pet Foochi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
