He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Sr. Confer and Georgia Confer (Koonce); and his pet Isaac. He is survived by: his wife Kate Confer (Mitchell); and his children, Brian Confer of Canandaigua, NY, Kristin Rowe (Jeffrey) of Hagerstown, MD, Kevin Confer (Marcie) of Erie and Erin Sheridan (Dan) of Buckeye, AZ. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren.
