She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Downey and William Downey Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Amy Sue Lehmann and Joseph Anthony Jr. (Angela); her grandchildren, Stephanie Gaitan, Victoria Gaitan, Alexander Lorenz and Hayden Lee; her great grandchild Kayden Gaitan; her brother William Downey Jr.; and her close friend Tammy Bond. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
