He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Micklinghoff); his children, Michelle Peters (Eddie), Michael Buchert (Brigid), Matthew Buchert (Rachel Hulcher) and Mark Buchert (Diane Bruzgo); his grandchildren, Mary Catherine Buchert, Kylie Buchert, Margaret Buchert, Blake Buchert, William Buchert, Brian Buchert, Nick Buchert and Annie Buchert; and his brother Donald.
