He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Tapia. He is survived by: his children, Ernest Tapia Jr., Victoria Tapia, Jesus Tapia and Kathleen Ochoa. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great grandchildren.
