He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenza (Nicolas Rangel) and Frank; his wife Lidia Ysaguirre of Eloy; his sisters, Nellie Ruiz and Margaret Sanchez; and his daughter-in-law Robin Rangel.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sarah Hasty (Patrick), Samantha Taylor (Mark), Peter-John Payan, Stephanie Lopez, Amanda Parker, Daniel Padilla (Julianna) and Nick Padilla; and his brother David Rangel (Sally).
The family requests that donations to the Wounded Warrior Project be made in lieu of flowers.
