He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Hernandez and Miceala Hernandez; his wife Antonia Hernandez; his siblings, Encarnacion C. Hernandez and Candelaria H. Luna; his grandson Nicolaus Hernandez; and his nephew Dennis Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, George Contreas, Eddie Contreas, Mario Contreas, Jerry Contreas, Martina Hernandez, Juan Hernandez and Vivian Hernandez Serratoz. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (201 N Picacho St, Casa Grande, AZ 85122). Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
