He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gambino and Virginia Gambino; and his sister Korki Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Judi Gambino; his children, Brett Gambino and Tiffani Poirier (Gary Poirier); his grandsons, Trent and Cole Poirier; and his siblings, Sam, Fred Gambino and Darlene Irwin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Food Bank, an organization close to his heart.
