He was predeceased by : his daughter Corrine; his parents, Frank Niklaus and Evelyn Niklaus; and his siblings-in-law, William and Myrtle Koch.

He is survived by : his wife JoAnn (Koch); and his children, Barry Niklaus (Karmen) and Dianne McSweeney (Christopher).

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Minnesota Zoo or Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, who provided a peaceful, comfortable experience for him would be appreciated.
