It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Mae Douglas of Chandler, Arizona, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Leisy and Eva Leisy; and her pet Kelly. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Kathy Lirakis and Bill Douglas; her niece Tina Boomsma; her nephew Thom Douglas; her pets, Pulga, Tuco, Shadow, Kody, Becky, Princess and Lucky Star; and her close friend Kenny.
In keeping with Carol's generous heart and lifelong love for animals, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA.
