He is survived by: his children, Susan Sportsman (Scott), Sandra Schira (Pat Caballero), Sharon Schira-Layton (Richard), Shelley Decker (William), Stephanie Knowlton (Tom), William Schira (Emily) and Jon Schira (Shelly); and his sister Susie Epperson (Bill). He is also survived by Papa Don to his 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
