She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Vela and Esteban Vela; her siblings, Joel, Santos, Abraham, Eduardo, Jesus, Guadalupe, Elena, Rafaela and Corina; and her daughter Michelle.

She is survived by: her siblings, Esteban Vela Jr. (Joyce), Gilbert Vela (Sharon) and Blanca Banuelos; and her children, Robert Vela (Josie), Linda Calleros (Richard), Eduardo Robles and Vanessa Robles. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary (14 W Hulet Dr, Chandler, AZ 85225). The inurnment will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204).
