With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jocie Hayes (Chandler, Arizona), born in New Boston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jocie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jocie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy G. Forte and Katie Carson; and her son Vincent A. Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Regine Culberson-Onwordi and Victor A. Hayes. She is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Whitney & Murphy Bueler Mortuary (14 W Hulet Dr, Chandler, AZ 85225). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
