He is survived by: his wife Leslie Matson (Gorka); his brother-in-law Mark Gorka; his daughter Paula Matson Sullivan; his grandsons, Joseph Matson and Andrew Sullivan; and his siblings, Jon Matson (Susan), Cliff Matson (Maureen), Roy Matson (Ling) and Gail Matson (Tryner). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
