Phyllis Ann Holt (née Robertson), 82, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Chandler, Arizona, with her family by her side.
Born on December 5, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, Phyllis lived a life filled with love, faith, and joy. She had a deep love for God and shared that love through her life, her words, and her song. Music was at the heart of Phyllis's spirit—she loved to sing and often lifted the hearts of those around her with her beautiful voice.
Phyllis dedicated her career to nurturing young minds as a preschool director, touching countless lives with her patience, kindness, and gentle guidance. Her devotion to children extended beyond her career, as she joyfully served in Sunday school classrooms and Vacation Bible School for many years, sharing her faith and love with generations of young hearts.
She shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Larry Holt. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith.
Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lisa (Daniel) Edwards and Shanin (Gary) Kribs; her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Porter, Zachary (Kaitlyn) Edwards, Chad Kribs, Mackenzy (Zachary) White, Sutton Edwards, Alexandria Edwards, and Abigale Edwards; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kai, Nolan, and Graeson Porter; Caroline and Daisy Edwards; and Wesley White.
Phyllis's legacy is one of warmth, compassion, faith, and song. She brought joy, comfort, and love wherever she went, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Phyllis's life will be held on May 2, 2026.
