Rick Kazuo Obituary

Rick Fair passed away at his home on February 24, 2026 in Chandler Arizona.

Rick was born in Yokohama, Japan to his parents Yuzo and Hamako Kanabe . He graduated from Andress High School in El Paso Texas. For Rick, education is the key to success.

He dedicated his life to dental technology, he was a successful Certified Dental Technician and Ceramist. HE BUILT SMILES! He attended Dawson Academy, and Kois Center Dental School. He also attended numerous specialty courses. He took great pride, was very meticulous and continually strived to make a quality product that delivered exceptional results for all his clientele. "Quality rather than quantity is always my focus."He believed a beautiful smile has dramatic and positive effects on the lives of people. He lived by love, respect, trust.

Beyond dentistry, he loved to travel and went on many adventures. He enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle. He had a deeper love with focus on living a healthy lifestyle. He spent years of his free time enjoying training with a gym that was special to him, EVKM Self Defense & Fitness/Krav Maga. He achieved his Yellow Belt and was invited to work towards earning his orange belt prior to his passing.

He loved his gym, made many friends, built relationships, had lots of laughter and just brought smiles to everyone's faces.

He leaves behind his sister, Sue; nieces Catherine (Joey) and Carrie (Tracy); a great niece, Paige; and many, many, many friends.

No formal public services will be held. He will be laid to rest privately. Please honor Rick's memory in your own way.
